Mondis T is a dedicated wireless sensor designed primarily for temperature measurement of cables in medium and low voltage applications. As part of the Mondis Energy product line, the sensor contributes to the monitoring and preventive maintenance of power networks through precise temperature measurements directly on cables.
Mondis TH measured the ambient temperature and humidity of different types of premises.
The device is equipped with a precision temperature sensor (and a humidity sensor for the TH version), providing reliable real-time data collection. Communication is via a module that supports wireless connectivity and allows wireless data transmission up to 100 meters in open space. Data is sent at regular intervals, and the sensor can also generate instant notifications when sudden changes in temperature conditions occur, ensuring a timely response and preventing breakdowns.
The collected data is transmitted to the Mondis IoT platform, where data is analyzed and visualized in real time. When pre-set temperature (or humidity) thresholds are reached, the system generates alarms, supporting fast and efficient maintenance. Power for the sensor is provided by a 1650mAh lithium-ion chloride battery that provides up to 7 years of maintenance-free operation. This makes the device ideal for hard-to-reach locations where frequent battery replacement is undesirable.
