Topology planning and design of client’s monitoring network

Proposing optimal client’s monitoring network topology, by selection set of sites with “Mondis” modules installed.

The aim is a reliable and cost effective monitoring network to be created. Preparation of BoQ for all system elements.

Tracing cable routes by acquiring GPS data

The tracing takes place in the urban canal network and out of the populated areas, which includes:

  • physical tracking of the cables – subject to monitoring
  • recording GPS coordinates of existing shafts, begin, reference and end points
  • measuring inter-shaft distances and existing cable advances
Digitalizing of cable network elements

Drawing cable routes in DWG, KML, GPX, CSV and other formats, Preparing cable plans,

geo positioning of shafts, outdoor racks, begin end and reference points

Installation of “Mondis” system monitoring and visualization software

Installation of “Mondis” system software is performed on a dedicated Server located at the client, within the Loren’s corporate network or virtualized in the cloud

Site survey

Preliminary research and surveys, prepare Site Survey Reports (SSR)

Installation of hardware devices with the appropriate number of interface modules

Installation and connection of terminal devices and interface modules, program activation of ports, integration into a database.

Installation of additional external power supply

Supplying the necessary materials for additional power supply and installation in 19 “cabinet / stand.

Configuration, calibration and visualization of the cable trace

Cable connection and calibration, processing and entering of cable routes, preparation for visualization.

Drawing a route on a map – Google or other mapping software.

Entering of main reference points – shafts, sockets, cabinets.


Installation, commissioning, calibration and system integration of new elements subject to monitoring.

Warranty and post warranty maintenance and support

Technical support during business hours; Prioritized response and resolution time;

  • Diagnostics and localization of hardware failures; replacement and repair of defective device modules,
  • recovery of functionality; calibration and adjustment during emergency recovery of cable tracking;
  • remote access to a technical support team, and online communication for emerging issues related to exploitation.
